Heinz, >>any comments on market reaction to the election in Taiwan and the Chinese retoric??

I expect Wall Street to get in gear with recommending our home based semi's like MU. <ggg>

I have no idea, except in normal times political uncertainty was not good for markets. I am not sure about this time since the US media has not kept J6P informed on the Taiwan/Chinese situation. On the other hand world markets should act in a normal fashion and may force our press to start the education process.

Bottom line it should be bad for financial markets until the smoke clears or guns start shooting.

I also think Mr. Clinton has a "real" political problem, both at home a abroad. I see that he is now asking Taiwan and China to talk and the Republicans should have fun with that approach.

BTW, this will not hurt ADM since China in the recent past has been trying to make their own soybean and grain products. If it gets sold off by investors that are not informed I will scoop up some more.
