To all Rambus Stock owners. I sold 120,000 shares of my RMBS. I paid off the margin on my account at E-trade and changed my account to a cash account. E-trade told me they had to scramble to get my stock back that had been loaned out to other brokers. I?m sorry it took me so long to do this but the extra stock acted like a rocket booster in my account. Now that the stock is up I hope others will follow my lead.

Zeev, this is my first post on SI, but I have checked the postings for the last year on a regular basis. I have especially enjoyed your messages and those of Unclewest. I have been a long-term holder of RMBS since the first day of its IPO in May, 97. Have added to my holdings on a regular basis since then, with the most recent purchase yesterday.

Until now I have been content with just lurking, but your recent posts have left me somewhat puzzled about your position towards RMBS. It appears to me that you are a former RMBS advocate who sold much too soon and have become bitter as a consequence. I recall several posts during the last few weeks when you announced sell at much lower prices than yesterday's close. Although you appear to have had a successful streak of predictions a few months ago, your record of late in predicting the movement of RMBS has been extremely inaccurate. Your recent posts, particularly the one I am responding to now, have consisted of a lot of FUD. I think you leave a lot of readers wondering if you are doing it in hopes of swinging some investors who are on the fence now over to the sell side in order to get the stock price down to your target of $330, or even $122.
I do not mean for this post to be offensive, but I wonder if you have thought much about how your posts today seem so inconsistent with your earlier ones that were entertaining as well as informative.
Best regards.
Multicol

Zeev,

Another one comes out of lurking to join SI because of your post! Do you get comm. from SI for this! Hang in there and do not let the longs make you doubt your predictions, for all stocks correct and usually after a run such as with RMBS a 50% retracement is not out of the ordinary! From $80 to $480 is $400 points and a 50% correction would take it to my target of $280 to $300!
