Howard,

As usual, a well thought out analysis enabling those of us without the technical background to better understand the fundamentals of this company.

I'd like to make a few comments about this thread and I emphasize this is not directed to anyone in particular, only to this board as a whole. I have lurked on and off this board for a 2-3 years. The resurgence of RNTK in the marketplace will draw renewed interest; good and bad. What I hope this thread doesn't do is resort to its old ways of discouraging and ganging up against a differing point of view when a reasonable argument is presented.

Howard has consistently been a source of great technical information written to a level of understanding a non-technical person can understand. But buying stock in a company at the right price can make a huge difference in one's patience and sense of making the right decision. I remember then having developed an interest in RNTK and trying to figure an entry point.

I apologize for not remembering the dude's name but those of you who've been around long term know who I mean. He never degraded the company's future but back when RNTK was approaching and following its deal with Texaco was telling us the stock's price wasn't supported. He presented rational thinking and he ended up being right on. How many people came aboard and paid higher prices because this guy was so discredited? Thanks to him I waited and rather than paying $2-3 I bought in for 78½ in December, '98. For awhile there I began to think I paid too much. I wonder how many of those who bashed him, paid more, sold for a loss and have since disappeared?

My point is it is my hope that this board be one of quality rather than quantity. I'm not against cheerleading but not at the expense of obtaining useful information. I'm also not against laying into anyone who posts just to bash the stock; and believe me they will come as the stock continues to climb. I believe the credibility of the board is maintained when it's open and accepting of well thought ideas or opinions even if they are telling us something we wish we weren't hearing.

I went a long time simply scrolling the post listings just to read Howard's posts. I really don't like doing that as well as getting to know the personality of the board and becoming a participant myself. I found I couldn't stand reading through all the hype and I know it discouraged others from participating. When that happens we all lose.

I remember the Yahoo board in particular ridiculing this thread and they were right on, even as sleazy as those boards can get. I felt embarrassed and found I didn't want to be associated with this board. I'll bet had I posted this message back then I would've certainly been flamed or worse. Maybe I'll still get bashed for writing this but I think those of you still around are above that. I admire your patience and perseverance, and hope you realize I have a right to express my opinion.

Thanks again Howard and best to all longs!
