Perhaps if there is one nagging doubt I had at the back of my head is that audiovox in the past has not really manufactured any of their own products. They either contract them out or oem other gadgets, not a very compelling business.

I'm not sure how much more profitable it would be if Audiovox actually built a plant rather than outsource, especially in the short term.

BTW, got the new Prudential report on VOXX in the mail today. They raised the price target to $65 and blamed the drop in margins partially on being forced to air-lift components and phones from Asia, among other things.

Still in with my 500 shares at 63. It hurts, but in times like this, you need to look at the other stocks in your portfolio to get your mind off things.
