In all fairness and as a frequent visitor of Germany, the post-unification Dresden has evolved into a high-tech mecca in Europe - a mini Silicon Valley in that part of the world.

Dresden actually is not a product name, but it will become obvious what the meaning of Dresden is in a few weeks.

There are production lines in Dresden now that are using 12in wafers at .18 for volume production. Intel hopes its fabrication technology will catch up to that level sometime next year.
