I am trying to decide why I like Kasich better than Dunn. And I think it comes down to the way Kasich speaks with real passion about conservative principles. He comes across as a true "compassionate conservative" closely aligned with Bush to me. They would make an excellent team.

When do the candidates typically decide?

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Chris Cox. He would be a superb selection. A pro-life Californian with no negatives. He'd bring a lot to the table, both in substance and in TV imagery.
