Greg and LB, I am catching up here and know that some sort of ugly fight has broken out (as evidenced on the other thread).

But I will respond to the Oracle as a gorilla question.

I believe there was a great debate a few weeks ago and the participants agreed that ORCL is the Gorilla of Enterprise databases, not databased in general. You have to give room for SQL Server at the work group level and Access as the personal level, but ORCL rules at the enterprise level.

Can't wait to see how the thread was trashed this weekend. Sheesh.
