Actually, I think it will tell us something. Yes, it will miss several days of action, but relatively speaking, the pre-11th moves are very significant. The stock price has not gyrated that much following the 11th. Also, I believe the short position is reported on the 14th, and not the 15th, though I may be mistaken.
