Sector, I have done some investigation into the alternatives for email while on a boat and they are not so great. Have a friend at SDYC who is very into cruising communications and she agreed that the choices are few. First, there is probably some potential in mobile phone/computer link in the Med as mobile phones are so prevelant and I think they are not limited to a region. Second is Ham radio, which is not great because a big message (let alone graphics) is such a drain on the Ham system. So, true full capacity mobile communication has great potential for marine applications and ones that I am particularly interested in. Thanks for posting this stock on MRVC thread and I am looking at all your DD and will look at KVH products. Sailor
