here's my problem.... i invest for other people under my SS#... they dont want to pay the taxes and have the gains show up on their 1099s... so I do the trading and they take a percentage of the profits and I pay all the tax on it..

not just IPO stuff but trading too... if etrade closes these accounts then I'll have to go back to all these people and tell them etrade closed all our accounts and that they'll have to do the trading on their own.

We specifically asked NUMEROUS, and I mean NUMEROUS Etrade reps if we could trade multiple accounts all under my social security # and try for IPOs in each one. They said yes. And that there was NO maximum. Etrade does NOT allocate or penalize by SS# but rather by account number.

They do NOT want to stop account growth which is a key factor in the OLB marketplace when trying to persuade institutions to buy some EGRP stock.

anyway, if they make this change they need to INFORM US BEFOREHAND and also put it in writing on the website somewhere and tell their reps to STOP TELLING US WE CAN TRY FOR IPOs IN MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS if we can't. Difference between me and some others who have multiple accounts is that I truly am investing for others (mainly family members)... we truly aren't trying to abuse the system..
but looks like we go down with the rest of em in flames if they make this change.
