To thread:

I'm going to open up an IRA for my kids, and I'd like some help getting a ideas to look into. I'd like to invest the 2K in the things I know a bit about: wireless, xml and incubators.

Any comments on the following two questions?:

1. Any weightings to the three markets?
2. Any suggestions for investing in these markets?
3. Any related markets that I could leverage my existing knowledge into?

Here's my first take on item 2:
wireless=nok (qcom seems awfully rich for my tastes)
xml=?
incubators=sfe

I don't have a clue on question 1.

Thanks in advance,
Tom

Okay Morgan! You got it...LDP is now in the "Incubators Portfolio" with a starting tracking price of 120 (today's close). I'm going to do some more digging on the outfit, but it look like she deserves tracking.

How about VERT? You diving in for more here below the $200 mark? Hope you had a great weekend...I just got back from a long trip.
