Bob <<Lee...What's the last time you took off like an F-14 with the afterburners kickin' in hard.>>

the answer to that one was when LeeK OD'd on Khans Kebab'nCurry ..... and not even Dorty's wisdom could save him from this one! I do believe he spent the next day under the xspurt care of Drs Billy Rubin and Seymour Colon!
Best wishes,
Burj

(OT)BobB: I note from your profile that you were in the USAF. And you must've flown one of those birds with the afterburners kickin' in. Do you still fly? The closest I ever came was on the baseball field. Bottom of the ninth. Tie score. I'm on second after a double. Next batter lined a sharp single to left field. The left-fielder had a cannon for an arm. I was young and fast...but I knew it was gonna be close at the plate. I kicked in my afterburners. The ball came in on a line, maybe three feet off the ground, hit the catcher's mitt with a pop I can still hear. I was a dead duck. Wasted a step going left, hook-slid right...slid just under the tag.
Do you ever watch JAG? On every night 7:00 p.m. EST. and Tuesday's on one of the major channels at 8:00. "Mac" is a dead-ringer for Thelma Tushbumper. Great action, wonderful dialogue. Suzy and I are hooked. If you haven't seen it, I recommend it highly. (Lee)
