I'am sure that you are refering to Barrick Gold (ABX) and my reference to the possibility that this company may also be included in those to be looked at for possibly criminal activities. Sure, you are correct and time will tell if any of these possibilities come to be, as Gold Anti-Trust Action Committee Inc.(GATA) gata.org is as you can say "full steam ahead" and they have and continue to target Barrick as having that smell to them, or to say, where there is smoke, then most likely fire or a smoking gun. But I like best the walk-sound-look Duck Test We all know that the share price of Barrick Gold ABX is off topic, but not this companies health in reference to a possible later criminal investigation initiated by GATA if that connection GATA speaks about with determination and conviction and sureness comes to be. Why? Simple, then Barrick would have been showned to be part of the manipulation of the gold market to keep its price low so that others could make money from the carry trade, while Barrick can make money thru its "fixed" hedging while at the same time cause many other gold mine companies to go banrupty and be purchased at extreme prices by Barrick. Sure, then if the above becomes fact thru becoming true, then the price of gold will explode upwards. Yes I agree, its off topic to identify the risk in holding or buying Barrick ABX shares as this is each persons responsibility to determine risk reward with Barrick as compared to another similiar gold company that GATA has stated as "doing whats right."
