(NASDAQ:AMPD) announced today that it received a Nasdaq Staff determination on October 28, 2002, indicating that the Company fails to comply with the stockholders' equity requirement for continued listing set forth in MarketPlace Rule 4310(c)(2)(B) and that its securities are, therefore, subject to delisting from the Nasdaq SmallCap Market. In addition, the Staff has advised the Company that its common stock failed to maintain a closing bid price of $1.00 as required by MarketPlace Rule 4310(c)(4). The Company has requested a hearing before a Nasdaq Listing Qualifications Panel to review the Staff's determination. There can be no assurance that the Panel will grant the Company's request for continued listing. Failure to maintain listing on the Nasdaq SmallCap Market will result in the Company's shares being quoted on the NASD's OTC Bulletin Board.
