Hi unclewest

Well, if you buy Westaim, just don't get married to it <VBG>.

unclewest: Mostly O/T: As yet I hold only EMA in OLEDs.

I looked over the weekend at others, including ones you mentioned, but I haven't pulled the trigger. I added a large O&G component to my portfolio a month or more ago, and have been waiting for Uncle Al to take about a thousand off the NASDAQ before I waded back into techs. I'm entirely tech (mostly communications) and O&G. I want to get into optics, including optical network switches, but failed to buy JDSU when it visited 150 a while back.

I keep seeing the validity of GG principles (I'm part way through the book), but the one personal characteristic I will probably never shake is a great insistence upon buying in cheaply. Worse yet, I raise the bar for a good entry price even as I'm presented with my previously contemplated buy-in price! Years of being singed in resources stocks leave lessons that are hard to unlearn in the tech context (i.e., fear of continuing downward market momentum even for the Qs and JDSUs). I've at least learned not to sell high, except for resource stocks.

I appreciate your time spent posting about your relentless search for new pebbles and gorilla prospects. I'll try to find time to track your posts as DD leads in the optical networking area, if you have ideas there.
