Another angle or speculation to the wild move of US stock markets.

I speculate that most money mangers in the SE Asia were aware of the result in Taiwan elections.

As soon as Taiwan government officially anounced that they will support their stock market, as did Hong Kong, many sold shares into the support and switched to more "stable" market ....e.g. US.

This move with the unwinding of long NAZ short SPX gave the market IMHO the strong boost.

Afte the NAZ unwinding ended by Friday it started to climb, still facing selling at higher levels.

As soon as the Taiwan - China tensions will cool down, money will leave the US market and also the dollar may weaken.

Any comments to this speculation?
