I just listened to a recording of an interview with the Gasonics CEO. biz.yahoo.com He's not as articulate as Brad, but that's not my point. He stressed that Gasonics now emphasizes "integrated clean" meaning both strip and the subsequent clean process. They provide the complete solution. Mattson presently provides strip, and has an alliance with another vendor to provide clean. I would speculate that Mattson would like to buy a vendor of cleaning equipment so that it too can provide a complete solution, and not with an alliance as it does now. Any thoughts on this, as a way of using some of the cash?
