More from Yahoo (it's tough weeding out the nuggets from the spam over there)

They'll cuss, they'll scream, they'll beg.

But why? Raging Bull does not give out monthly "Good Samaritan" Awards. Wall Street does not give parades for "the kindly Do-Gooder." What Wall Street rewards is the the Agressive, the Confident and the Knowledgeable. And you my friend have something they want. It's a stock. One that's selling at a price they don't like and can't make money off--or one they'd like to buy at a discount. Imagine.... If someone knocks on your door and says "Nice House, I'll give ya 5 grand for it," you'd tell them to go to hell. If they then started telling you what was "wrong" with your house and started shouting that you are nuts not to sell, you'd slam the door, call the cops or get your gun.

Well, you can't do the last two on Monday when these guys show up. But you can slam the door on them.

Search your minds this weekend. Reevaluate what attracted you to this stock in the first place. Talk to people whose opinions you respect. Ask what your risk tolerance was before thse "concerned" people showed up. And, what it is now. Research "Short & Distort" on the SEC Enforcement Division Homepage. Talk to posters like Buccalflap about what he's experienced at ANTS. Visit the SCON board, ask for opinions (they wethered a short assault like this not long ago after a run and they dipped then kept on going up.) Do your homework again. Then, make your choice.

I have, and I'll be here Monday, at 9:00. I'm looking forward to it.

Best, and all my HO.

Mark

I love the net, hate it when things get chopped up tho...

Why would anybody expend the energy to so strongly encourage someone they DON'T know, to sell an investment?
