Intel's first box is one of seven that the company eventually plans to ship under its own brand. ..... Intel's latest foray will pit it against some of its largest processor customers, most notably stalwart supporter Dell Computer Corp., Round Rock, Texas, which makes the Power Edge cache server. Cool move! I think I'll email our Dell rep Monday and ask where I can go to buy a Genuine Intel server - since the need to pay the Dell middleman is gone :-) I'll include those words :-) Looks like Intel marketing has been attending training sessions put on by the chipset-design / memory-type-selection folks.
