Rudedog, I read a post a few days ago that said somthing about SUNW being in trouble because of IBM, and the stock will not break 100 anytime soon! I didn't understand
the post! Any idea?

Well, the street disagrees with your assessment of SUNW's position. You may have it backwards. The stock price is high because the money believes in SUNW. Not the other way around. --- To say SUNW hasn't proved itself because the Wintel fat lady has yet to sing, sounds a bit nonsensical to me at this point. --- I don't know all that much about Compaq, but to suppose Compaq is going to rise up and challenge SUNW strikes me entirely as wishfull thinking. At the expense of EARNINGS, quarter after quarter, Compaq doesn't have much to show for shipping all of those boxes, rudedog. And Alpha was bungled (past tense). -JCJ
