Today's best internet play? Back to business (while having fun).

GNET well first off we know GNET is out, I do own a couple hundred shares still but I just dropped it from my BUY list to my HOLD list. So it is a hold not a buy.

CMGI cmgi.com You want to invests in internets? Then buy some and forget about it. That's what I do. I have it in paper.

AOL is OK if you have lots of time on your hands and want to invest in something that moves like a media company not like an internet company.

INKT is moving and lots on nice things are being said about it but it is not what you would call cheap after this recent move. You got to pay if you want to play.

NSOL networksolutions.com I have loved this stock since it came public. I watched it grow up with GNET. I own it, wish I had more of it.

YHOO yahoo.com I am biased as I own it. I think this is the best internet bet and they are taking over the world. Thou shall Yahoo! Even at the current price it is a buy in my mind.

MSFT, if you don't think of MSFT as an internet company then you may want to look at this mediametrix.com

BOUT about.com really has the "search game" for hits down and they have been a steady mover.

And then there is GO go.com and NBCi nbci.com,
GO figure. Look at the Media Metrix numbers and you will see what I'm talking about.

ELNK has M/A/Partner target painted on it IMO at this price and I'm willing to wait at this price. I am biased I own it. Plus any way I can bet against AOL, I'll do it. DSL is growing on ELNK earthlink.com

And that's just a few of them.

So what is the best play? The answer was in the question. It's a DD thing.

Mornin' all. I hope none of you own MSTR, wow, killed, blood AND internals in the street on this one. I hate seeing stuff like that. Man this is really ugly and some people are getting hurt, that's never funny. Down over a hundred. I guess this is what they mean when they say Wall Street can punish a stock. And this is all pre-market trading.
Better news, CPQ and DELL are slowly starting to act like they did before the DEC deal came along (moving higher together). And semis , hold on to the bar. Morning trades, INTC has been trading over 130, DELL @ 58, ORCL 80+. Now pay attention GNET 86 5/8 down 5/8ths. Not what you would call a major run up from "the tour". Did ONE shareholder ask about insider selling on low volume? That's not a meeting then if they didn't, it is a tour (and a joke).
JDSU and other leaders in this run are looking good. And some of the folks at BA are going back to work. As a stuck-in-the-BA-mud shareholder this makes me happy. I may in five or ten years, makes some money in BA. Since 1997 I've lost money (in paper) in BA.
Well it won't be long now, Morning, morning (I'm ceremoniously rolling up my sleeves).......Give me two...give me four....give me a 909.
