Possible companies to watch for in the voice recognition tornado for those of you in the basket approach. As the WWW goes small for hand helds, voice recognition will play an important role. I do not expect these stocks to turn into Gorilla anytime soon if ever. Out of the four I have picked LHSP as the most likely King.

VOXW, CMGC, LHSP, RMAG

I have just learned about VOXW, and RMAG. CMGC I have followed for years, they are doing the OnStar voice recognition for GM.

Hi, Billy. Re Globespan--It is really not a candidate for this thread, despite the existence of a possible tornado. DSL suppliers are by definition chimps or lesser princes, and cannot become Kings or Gorillas. The telcos won't allow it, and the standard is open and non-proprietary. Additonally, Globespan is an unlikely candidate in any case due to their reliance on such a small group of customers (Cisco, Lucent, Intel) that have so much more power than they do.

Best,
John
