Voltaire, does that mean you will answer the following question which a friend sent to me today?

I think you have essentially answered it, since you emphasize the monthly cycle, but I don't want to put words in your mouth either (since he's not asking me). I know you have said in the past that you don't concern yourself with whether or not you will get called, but I wasn't sure if you emphasized certain things at different times of the year.

Here it is:

"Has anybody ever queried V on writing covered calls on a seasonal basis? That is to say, historically some months are lousy for tech stocks. As some folks are wary of trying his CC program for fear that their favorite stock will be called away; it strikes me that a good beginning time for such investors to try his program would be during a month when historically they would probably not be called. Indeed, it strikes me that if there are, say, 4 or 5 months which are lousy for tech stocks like qcom, dell, intc, etc., a fearful person might write CCs only in those months and still make enough to live comfortably and stress-free."

TIA and thanks also, V, for what you just said to me. You always come through and I have always admired that quality in you.
