I think it is best if you ask Weigarten himself as to why the Jupiter-Saturn aspect has to do with real estate.

From my amateurish knowledge of astrology, I think it is simply because that Saturn is associated with land, property and real estate. BTW, Saturn also rules mines.
Since Jupiter represents prosperity and expansion, therefore a benign (and even a difficult!) Jupiter-Saturn aspect signifies an expansion of the things associated with Saturn. You may well be right that hotels will make a comeback under the Jupiter-Saturn influence. If that be correct, then the stock, Hilton Hotels (HLT.NYSE) is poised to rise!

Please note the above is just a very simplistic interpretation. For a fuller interpretation, one has to consider the signs and houses occupied by these two planets and the aspects which they make with other planets etc. & etc.
