California Software Announces New Effective Date for Two-for-One Stock Split

Ex-Dividend Date Changed to March 20, 2000
SANTA ANA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 15, 2000--California Software Corporation (OTC BB: CAWC), a leader in IBM Midrange migration products and developer of the award-winning BABY(tm) product line, today announced a correction regarding the Company's two-for-one stock split, which was previously announced on February 23, 2000.

The ex-dividend date for the stock split has been changed from Wednesday, March 22, 2000 to Monday, March 20, 2000. The record date of March 15, 2000 has not changed. Trades executed between March 15 through March 17, 2000 will carry due bills attached for each split share.

The post-split shares will begin trading at the open of the market on Monday, March 20, 2000.
