Gary:

The TA on gold so far as I am concerned has worked well. I sometimes think the people who complain that it doesn't expect it to go up and if it doesn't say TA does not work in the market. The same claim has been made in regard to small cap stocks and my observation hs been that it does indeed work. As for the unfilled gap there are 2 possibilities. The gap doesn't fill, which would be extremely bullish or the gap does fill which would weaken but not necessarily invalidate the potential H&S formation.

The formation that Bob pointed out is a long term formation and will take a while to develope. In the meantime the gap could fill. It is even possible that the right shoulder could be lower than the left shoulder and the formation as I said would be less powerful but not invalid.

All the charts and TA say at this time is that we are in a congestion zone and the direction of gold is unresolved.

Live long and prosper,

Little joe
