Alert: Salomon Raises Dell Computer Share Price Target to $71 From $55 (NasdaqNM:DELL) For three days last week (thursday-saturday) I sat with the Penn crowd at the NCAA's....Well, the Wharton school is one of the finest in the world....The group that attends these meets from the investment world is impressive...David Pottruck the CEO of Charles Schwab is someone I have known for the last five years...He is perhaps the biggest supporter of Penn wrestling..David's wife owns a ton of DELL....He recently bought some himself...Perhaps his meeting with Michael over in China this summer was the trigger... :o) They both were in Fortune Magazine recently discussing the future of China for technology and investment.....Also in attendance was a Salomon Smith Barney equity manager who attends all events....My nephews, niece, girlfriends of, etc...etc...etc....Well, they're all now on my DELLHEAD list since they all wanted to know about DELL...Clinton Matter is another nephew who also wrestled at Penn and for the last two years is with Morgan Stanley...His girlfriends dad is waaaay up there at MStanley...Brett's girl friend is working with SSBarney also and Brett himself has been promised a job with them when he graduates in May....Well, everyone got an earful...If you know what I mean :o)...The SSB manager especially...Why? Well I kindly reminded him that SSB had DELL as a hold for over two years.... :o) I was nice... :o) Really...I was... :o) :o) You're not getting out of this bet Patrick....I will be sure to keep copies of these posts so all DELLHEADs in attendance in Austin can hold you to that steak dinner... DELL @80 by shareholders...This upgrade from them is just the first of dozens that will be coming ....Everyone will soon find that DELL is out of box in a number of ways...
