Hi Jill,
I gave up on JDSU this a.m., sold some 150 April calls I'd purchased (at a big loss) and then sold some cov calls for 130 for April for the stock I still own. Oh well, lose some, win some, I'm expecting April expiration to be at a low point for the Naz and that May and June will be the usual crappy tech sell offs.
Sold cov calls on ctxs too but for strike 130...don't really want my ctxs taken away but at 130 wouldn't cry (got 3 3/8 for them).
Finally got into oracle this a.m. (Thanks Greg!). Bought some '02 leaps for strike 70...wokan.... should do well in the next year and a half.
Roth says to sell Leaps at about 6-9 months before expiration (unless you are planning to exercise them). Do most of you all do that?
