Hi Jim,

Here is an interesting site that covers IPO lockups.

ipolockups.com

To follow up on our discussion on part shortages:

09:30 ET Cypress Semiconductor (CY) 46: Merrill Lynch reiterates BUY rating; raises FY00 EPS estimate to $1.53 to $1.70 and ups price target to $60; cites SRAM supply shortage.

Also KEM, a manufacturer of tantulum capacitor, is pre-announcing better than expected results due to the shortage. Tantulum capacitors are suitable for high frequency applications where size is an issue.

NUHC, undervalued electronic parts distributor with 33 percent of sales in communication components:

Also more on the Barrons

09:46 ET Barron's Burn Rates : The relatively silly article about burn rates is leading to some buying opportunities this morning. Among the solid companies being hit by the article are VERT -7 5/8, ITRA -5 1/2, ISLD -2 1/8, and INIT -1 3/8.

Couldn't get in to SI last night to say-our cabdrivers are very brave, considering apparently minimal knowledge of local language & geography :)
