OT, In a market waiting with bated breath for tomorrow's fed meeting

Pat, I thought the market has pretty much priced in another quarter-point hike. Probably some more yammering from AG. Kind of like everyone knew Santana would win the Grammy or Oscar or whatever it was because they were touting him a week in advance. Bond market has been sanguine in the face of a likely rate rise. Momo investors saying "not yet" to coupons over highflyers. While 6% on a 10-yr note is not going to budge high-tech crowd, the slow and steady rise of rates will eventually weigh on leveraged members of the food chain (carriers) and could then have secondary effects on cos like SDLI that sell them picks and shovels. I suspect that will be slower in emerging, though.

For me, the bigger concern (and hopefully farfetched) is China/Taiwan. Threat of war is real, and due to Taiwan's importance as a mfg. base for many high tech cos, a military conflict there would not do wonders for our market (or for their people's health).

RE "Today's IBD"

Do you mean the March 20 issue that came out Saturday? I must have missed it. Where is this list?
