I've been increasingly thinking we might get hit with 0.5 % also. Greenspan surely must realize that the markets will rally like there is no tomorrow if he comes out with the "expected" 0.25 %. Only an increase larger than that expected by common wisdom has any hope of being perceived as a reason to bridle rampant speculation.
