Paul,

Would you rather have a problem of EXCESSIVE DEMAND - like Intel - or EXCESSIVE PRODUCTION - like AMD ?

I would rather have excess capacity at a time when there is an inability to fill orders by the industry leader.

Am I referring to AMD, or CPQ back in the early 80's?

Paul,

But what if the problem is a shortage of product due to problems with yields and not excessive demand.

Indications are that demand is flat and yet there is a shortage of Intel product.
