Hi Mike,

Thanks for the laugh on attempting to understand the imponderabilities of the genome. You may have done more good for this old tech, hands-on, builder than you can imagine. My experience so far has been a good match for your own. Except that I never did buy MLNM. :-)) Instead, I've recently dabbled in a heart medicine company called CORR and I can't say I know enough about this one to stick around, though the news is extremely encouraging.

So back to business. I noted in some reading yesterday that the South Koreans are planning to roll out more xDSL gear in that country alone this year than has previously been installed world-wide. (About 2MM modems)

And today, I find that a South Korean company is trying to become a key player in the PLC (Power Line Communication) market. Here's an article on the subject:

Re: So I'm sticking to something that has a lot of mass. That you can see without a microscope. I'm not even a fan of those solitons or fiberless light thingys either. It's good old telecom equipment investing for me!.

After some of my recent forays, I'm tending to agree! I took a look at PMCS' latest 10-K, just out today, and it looks like they are firing on all cylinders. Now if I could just find their So. Korean connections....... Sm:)e.

Bon Chance, Ray
