As I indicated in my previous post, LU and NT all have dispersion compensation integrated with their receivers which is a better choice for fiberoptic networking. An independent dispersion compensation device(like the one AVNX has) is not a good choice,technically. GLW's new zero dispersion fiber is getting momentum among carriers. It is negatively impacting AVNX's optitcal processor's outlook. This industry is a fast changing industry. A product could be worthless in very short time. The market is realizing this fact as a result,the the stock reacted accordingly today.
