Hi SJS, I would tend to agree with bp about the proximate cause of the sell off. The Cowan cancellation is the sort of news that would get completely disregarded in a bull market and may or may not have contributed today. If you take a peek at the rest of the "nouveau" chip sector, you'll find AMCC had a lot of company on the downside. I'm not too concerned, I've been long since this one was trading at 20, split-adjusted and I think it's got a long, rollercoaster ride ahead with the rewards out-weighting these downdrafts by a big margin.
