During the past six to seven months, I've noticed my reading habits seem to be changing away from the marketing press over to more technology oriented publications. One of those has been MIT's "Technology Review"...about two years old, and pretty good stuff. Here's a link to the current issue, in which there's an article about how companies are protecting their IP, and which ones are doing the best job of it.

Project HUNT:

I an eagerly waiting to attempt a HUNT. If we are running out of companies, I noticed that RedBack (RBAK) and Juniper (JNPR) were mentioned recently. Perhaps they should be added.

Further, we could also create some "spin offs" from the HUNT. For example:

1) Tech Reports: Recently everyone wanted a report on the difference between a switch and a router. Perhaps we could create a list of tech questions to answer.

2) Valuation: What about the link to CAP at capatcolumbia.com . There are a lot of articles there. Perhaps we could have a weekly "book report" on those articles.

Just a suggestion to increase the signal to blah.blah. ratio (although i like the blah.blah.)

Waiting for a project from an elder . . .
