Why isn't Bernie flying out to the pole right now

Not such a good idea since G* phones don't work that far north.

I don't think G* covers the North Pole. However, when I checked the coverage map the other day I noticed that they now offer "degraded coverage" here in South Central Alaska. I made a lucky G* trade a while back so I'm thinking of spending the profits on a G* phone. Does anyone know what degraded coverage means? Maybe I'd have to climb a mountain or something to acquire a satellite...

Rick,

Next up on the G* trial is Islamorada(Florida Keys). The coverage map looks like it cuts across this area, so we'll see. So far I have a yes for the Midwest and at 30,000 feet en route to Atlanta, and a no in Mexico. I think I'll be back in Mexico this summer, so we'll give it a try again. Hold the cat tacos, please.
