They had both JDSU and QCOM as Non Margin, but they made them marginable again, I think because they got so many customer complaints. The net effect is that these two stocks remain at 50% margin, while at other brokerages they have gone higher. Many other good stocks, however, have remained Non Margin at Datek (e.g SDLI, ETEK). They also sprang this on customers without either warning or explanation. Very poor PR.
