What's nice for Ebay stockholders is that I think the rumor news is not even priced in the stock. I think most out there have said it's a long shot that Yahoo will actually buy them. Good news is Ebay is not in any hurry to need to merge with someone. They do the best at what they do and they are very focused on their business. There is still so much growth ahead of them. They get to call the shots because they can afford to walk away and do just fine. This is a much better position to be in than in a stock where the company has peaked and knows they must do something to keep growing. I frankly don't care about any merger but I do think a Yahoo/Ebay one I think would be best. The others I say bag em.
