Yes, remember the Luntz poll in which something like 45% said they would rather die than be left alone with AlGore for a week. Luntz said that was very important because the most likeable candidate most always wins.

As for women, white and Hispanic women both choose Bush over AlGore in the bipartisan Battleground poll:

Screw his suits, his ideas are nuts. On enviromental.. he's ok with Oxy Pete destroying many acres of rain forest for oil. He's got tons of OxyPete. When he gains the environment gets a back seat.
