I tried it several times from TJ to south about 100 miles(of TJ). I kept getting a message something like 'unable to authenticate'. When I got back to St. Louis, I called Globalstar and they told me that indicated the service wasn't available. I called from the G* phone using *611. Their doc. said service should be available in March, so they anticipated later in the month.
