Computers doubled prices. Yes I am in Europe. I just moved from Stockholm. There the prices are at US level. Perhaps one of the reasons of high penetration of INternet there.

I follow the prices of computers for over ten years.

I used to to use my tickets to fly to Europe and extend them to go all the way to the US to buy computers and porinters while in Africa.

The prices (in Germany) were obscene before the appearance of Vobis. Today I can see only German TV here in the Czech Republicand I can see the prices. They are dirty cheap.

Still using the examples I gave Mike: Europe is deflating at a fast rate and this rate of deflation will increase in the foreseable future.

Just keep the focus on LM trechnologies, the state owned enterpises that still own telecommunications companies in Europe are in for a shake down no that they are being forced to unbundle.

Put that with falling prices and picture the result.

Just to finalize: Germans use to buy computers and hang on to them for years. Now they are discard them as the new ones appear on the market.
