I don't think so. Judging by INTC stock performance of late...I'd say this quarter looks real good. Same for AMD. When will people realize that it is possible for both companies to do well.....especially with no strong 3rd player. As Niles says "people want to make this into an either or situation" just not the case!!

I think its possible that both companies could do well but I don't think its probable. But the original point of my post was that I don't believe the analysts are comfortable supporting both companies so they opt for the consistent winner in the past.....Intel...and they don't want to deal with the possibility that things may be changing.

BTW I don't believe everything is fine at Intel if for no other reason than there are way too many people who are defensive when it comes to this company.
