Like, duh? I think it is just a matter of time before all the talking heads on CNBC/CNNFN start talking about click and mortar companies like DLIA as a "way to hedge your bets between the new and old economies."

<<iTurf Network Surpasses MTV.com In Unique Audience
March 20, 2000 03:31 PM
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 20, 2000--iTurf Inc. TURF , the leading online proprietary teen network, announced today that for the first time, in February, it surpassed the MTV.com website in unique audience, as reported by Nielsen Net Ratings, an Internet audience measurement firm. iTurf's reach increased substantially between January and February due to its acquisition of theSpark.com and continued traffic growth on the network. Traffic on the iTurf network has increased by nearly 2 million monthly unique visitors since the teen network's public offering in April 1999.

Additionally, iTurf's audience numbers position the network as the dominant player in the proprietary teen-focused content and community space with unique traffic that is five times the traffic of its nearest direct competitors, Bolt, Inc. and Alloy Online, Inc. The iTurf network now reaches over 3.5% of the total active online audience.

Site or Property(a) Audience (millions) Reach (% of active users)
iTurf Network 2.73 3.57
Mtv.com 2.56 3.34
Alloy 0.55 0.72
Bolt 0.50 0.65

Steve Kahn, President and CEO of iTurf, commented, "I think these numbers speak for themselves. iTurf is dedicated to providing teens more of what they want online and it's gratifying to know that teens value and respect our approach."
