Maybe the most outspoken people are the ones who worship Tom. I'll bet a lot of sensible folks out there recognize that Tom can be full of it at times.

By the way, Tom's SDRAM tests are indeed artificially skewed because of the overclocking. I have confirmation of that from coworkers. One of those coworkers even tried the same thing Tom did with less success than Tom claims.

So why doesn't Intel and/or Rambus post a public response? Probably because it's not worth responding to. It's not like Tom hasn't been negative on other technologies that Intel supported in the past. I remember Tom bad-mouthing MMX, AGP, Slot 1, Pentium III enhancements, etc. Tom has a long history of disliking a lot of what Intel supports. This overclocked 440BX test is nothing different.
