Mq...all us environmentalist wackos know this canyon stuff. Ya gotta, especially when they try to damn both Hell and the Grand. Can you believe such a thing? BTW, the Grand may be more impressive...especially with all those PreCambrian rocks and all, but Hell is deep as hell and that's why we fought to keep it runnin' free.

Maurice, you are right about one thing. Hell's Canyon is about as close to Hell as you can get especially in the summer with rattle snakes and all. Lots of electricity comes out of there and when a problem occurs, it costs the utility company a mere 1 mil per minute. That would buy a lot of phones.

Brian, I am sure the delays in China have everything to do with Taiwan. Until that is settled peacefully, I don't think many minutes will be sold.

Re: Alaska, I see complaints about the lack of coverage there. Cust care said that only the area so of Ankorage will be covered and that the rest of the state will not until a new gw is built either there or in n.e. Russia. So is that a problem? Alaska's official pop is less than 900,000 with the majority living in the southern regions. Granted, those who need the phone will be north but there are not that many. Not that big of a market. Let's get Brazil up first!
