Tirex Adamently Denies Allegations in Spurious Complaint
MONTREAL, March 21 /CNW-PRN/ - JOHN L. THRESHIE Jr., President of The Tirex Corporation, vigorously denied the allegations set forth in the lawsuit instituted by IM2 Merchandising and Manufacturing and Mr. David Sinclair stating that the allegations were wholly without merit. While Mr. Threshie declined to state particulars he reported that he had contacted the Company's lawyers and authorized them to vigorously respond to this lawsuit. Contacted by the Company, its former president Mr. Terence Byrne stated that he was shocked, dismayed and enraged that Mr. Sinclair would file a Complaint that had such spurious and untrue claims. Mr. Byrne added that he intends to vigorously pursue a counter suit and will seek a full redress for the untrue statements made about him and against the Company.

Mr. Threshie further denied that any fraud was committed by anyone and conversely stated that it was Mr. Sinclair and his company which had failed to abide to the terms of their agreement with Tirex. He added that it is most unfortunate that Mr. Sinclair had instituted this baseless lawsuit because all the shareholders of Tirex had benefited from the recent improvements to the Company's unique and proprietary technology making it ready for commercial exploitation.
