Because of the precarious market climate, especially for the nasdaq, I'd have to see the entire nasdaq closing in an uptrend before I'd hold any stock overnight. I'd rather just look for '10-15 minute chart daytrades' for an hour or two and even less and close the position at the end of the session even if a new uptrend begins. You can always re-enter the next day and even play the same daytrading strategy once again.
