I think we're all worried about Greenspan and that 1/2 point. As someone posted earlier, 1/4 point and nothing too nasty said and we rally. I'm just afraid that Greenspan will still go ahead with a 1/2 point to try and keep the markets from roaring ahead too fast again. Getting itchy to buy, but don't think I will.

If anybody here owns tobacco stocks (and I feel like saying "shame on you" if you do -- but to each his/her own), should be aware of this morning's Supreme Court ruling saying the federal gov't has NO power to regulate tobacco as a DRUG. Unclear what effect that might have on company bottom-lines, since it basically throws the issue back to the states instead of Washington. But might want to keep an eye on developments...
