carepedeum200: Looking ahead...

I think that after the Fed meeting, next 3-4 weeks will be quite positive for NASDAQ. From what I've read, should be strong earnings season, which should lead to positive analyst comments and upgrades. One caveat I remember from last year -- April 15th marked the start of a sharp and prolonged decline in the internet stocks that lasted well into October. We may see something like this again in the tech high-flyers. I will begin taking profits aggressively and raising cash beginning third week of April, and plan to be 100% cash in my trading (non-taxable) account one week prior to next Fed meeting on May 16th. I expect a replay of this past week before the Fed's next .25% rate hike in May.

One final note: I will be a bit smarter and hedge my bets by taking 1/2 positions near the close one day before the Fed meeting, and take next 1/2 the following morning.
